Terms and Conditions – Celebrity Help! My House is Haunted – commencing March 2023

  1. By entering this Celebrity Help! My House is Haunted – commencing March 2023 (the “Competition”), the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions and to have agreed to be bound by them. Warner Bros. Discovery (unless otherwise stated, at all times when referred to in these terms and conditions being the Warner Bros. Discovery entity defined in paragraph 21 of this terms and conditions) reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award any Prize(s), to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  1. The Competition is only open to residents of the United Kingdom which comprises England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, and Republic of Ireland, excluding employees of Warner Bros. Discovery and its group companies, its agents or anyone professionally associated with the Competition. All entrants must be eighteen (18) years old or above.
  1. No purchase is necessary to enter this Competition.
  1. Entrants must meet the eligibility requirements as specified herein. Entries that are incomplete or received after the Closing Time, or those which do not meet all of the entry requirements, will be deemed to be invalid. Warner Bros. Discovery accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind.
  1. Entrants expressly declare and represent that (i) they submit to English law and jurisdiction in participating in this Competition and (ii) they are individuals and not a company or any professional and/or commercial entity.
  1. The Competition opens on Friday 10rd March 2023 at 10:00am GMT (the “Opening Time”). The Competition closes on Friday 17th March 2023 at 23:59pm GMT (the “Closing Time”). Entries must be received between the Opening Time and the Closing Time (such time being referred to in these terms and conditions at the “Competition Period”). Entries that are not received during the Competition Period will not be accepted.
  1. To enter the Competition, entrants must:
  • like the post by @discoveryplusUK on Instagram relating to this Competition;
  • follow @discoveryplusUK on Instagram (if the entrant is not following already); and
  • leave a comment on the Competition post on who would be your dream celebrity to join the ‘Help! My House is Haunted’ team for the day and include what size T-shirt they would like.
  1. The Competition is limited to one (1) entry per person.
  1. There will be five (5) winners of the Competition (the “Winner” or “Winners”) who will be randomly selected on Friday 24th March 2023 at 6:30pm and notified via direct message on Instagram. The Winners must respond to the email with their full name and address where to deliver the Prize, confirm size of the t-shirt and claim their Prize by no later than 17:00 GMT on Friday 31st March 2023. If the Prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and Warner Bros. Discovery reserves the right to offer the unclaimed Prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  1. Each Winner will receive one (1) limited edition ‘crew’ T-shirts for the new series of Celebrity Help! My House is Haunted (available in S, M, L, XL, and XXL) (RRP £10) (the “Prize”).
  1. The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. The Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes and expenses (excluding posting expenses), costs or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of the Prize not specified herein as being included. Warner Bros. Discovery reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Warner Bros. Discovery’s control make it necessary to do so.
  1. Each eligible entrant will only be able to win once during the Competition Period.
  1. Entrants who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified. Any entry that is deemed to be offensive, inappropriate, obscene or unlawful, or is otherwise considered to include objectionable content or information, will not be granted approval and will therefore be excluded from the Competition.
  1. The decision of Warner Bros. Discovery regarding any aspect of the Competition is final.
  1. Warner Bros. Discovery reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition (including these terms and conditions) where it becomes necessary to do so.
  1. Personally identifiable information and data (“Personal Data”) which is provided by entrants when entering, or as a result of entering, the Competition will be held and used by Warner Bros. Discovery and their service providers, network operators, suppliers and contractors in order to administer and fulfil the Competition and Prize in connection with entry to the Competition. Any Personal Data will be used in accordance with the Warner Bros, Discovery’s privacy policy. Warner Bros. Discovery may be required to send Personal Data of the Winners to third parties outside the United Kingdom, for the purposes of fulfilling and administering the Competition and/or the Prize and the Competition Winners agree to such transfer for these purposes.
  1. By entering the Competition, the Winners agree to participate in any publicity or promotional activities as may be reasonably required by Warner Bros. Discovery. Warner Bros. Warner Bros. Discovery (or any third party nominated by Warner Bros. Discovery) may exercise its sole discretion to use the Winners’ name and image and their comments relating to the Prize and Competition experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid, subject to relevant data protection legislation.
  1. Warner Bros. Discovery cannot and does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any Prize. Warner Bros. Warner Bros. Discovery is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, or at any website, including any injury to or resulting from participation or downloading of any materials in the Competition. Nothing shall exclude Warner Bros. Discovery’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
  1. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network (the “Social Networks”). Entrants are providing their information to Warner Bros. Discovery and not to the Social Networks. The information that entrants provide will only be used as stated in these terms and conditions. By entering the prize draw, entrants will be deemed to have released the Social Networks from any and all liability arising from their participation in the prize draw or out of, pursuant to, or as a result of the carrying out of the prize draw.
  1. The Competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the Competition submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
